The VLF Sine 37 kV with integrated tan delta is a compact, durable, and highly portable test and diagnostic system designed for medium-voltage (MV) cable networks.

Combining robust performance with practical mobility, the VLF Sine 37 stands out as the most powerful portable unit in its class, capable of testing up to 1.6 μF @ 26 kVRMS, making reliable testing and diagnostics of cables longer than 5 km effortless.

The unit is a truly multifunctional tool. It performs:

VLF and DC testing

Sheath testing and sheath fault pinpointing (with the ESG NT2 step voltage probe)

Tan delta measurements for accurate assessment of cable condition and insulation integrity

Can be used as a power source for partial discharge (PD) measurements to identify local problems such as workmanship issues

Thanks to its smart frequency control, the system automatically adjusts the test frequency based on cable length, ensuring testing even on 15 kV-rated cables up to 25 km long.
